Booked over phone today. Sends someone over who installs dodgy door lock and tries to rip me off saying call out was £89 and the door lock £129!
This was way beyond what I’d been quoted £69 call-out and £30+ for door lock & keys
Went on Amazon and the SAME lock is £17!!!!!!
How unconscionable to charge £129 for a £17 lock!!!!!!
Very cheap lock, unsteady and looks horrible
I refused to pay the rip off
He huffed and puffed and threatened to remove it. I told him to go right ahead! Still had nerve to demand £89 for removal!!!
Beyond belief
Eventually settled for £89/£50 for lock even though I knew it was a rip off.
Just me and kids at home - didn’t want anyone coming back to rob us or worse, harm us.

Jaxx Sparks1 StarSo I’ve just come to know this - this firm was called out £89 to install a door handle £129.00 the door handle is £12 on screw fix and £17 on Amazon. Not only did they rip off their customer they didn’t even manage to align the lock so the door locked and left. I would be speaking to trading standards about this. It’s astonishing how they can get away with ripping off someone so bad. The positive reviews here are all paid for mainly.Thursday 2nd May 2024

Ziyao Zhou (Not a real ghost)3 StarAccidentally locked myself out. I called and they came within 30 minutes and opened the door within 5 minutes. Excellent job but they will take advantage of your desperation. Their quoted price is without VAT and a replacement lock will cost upwards of £500+. 3 Stars for the speed but I had the exact same issue again, and a different locksmith was able to open the door without destroying the lock and only charged me for £150.
