I visited this store today to sort out an issue with my spare car key fobbwhich was not ejecting from the key when I pressed the button. The owners were extremely helpful in resolving the issue for me and at a reasonable price. Thank you so much for helping a .lady in distress'. Although they were a little difficult to find, it was well worth my perseverance. As they say, good things are hard hard to find. I would certainly use their services again and will certainly recommend them to friends and family alike. I can't thank them enough for customer service which was second to none.

I recently had the pleasure of going to Auto Key Specialist in Minerva Road to create a new car key for my Mercedes. I'd had a fault with my master key since before lockdown. My mechanic had recommended I go there. It came to a head when my spare key battery died. This prompted me to finally take my master key to be fixed. It took me a little while to find them but the gentleman on duty that morning directed me whilst on the phone. I was like a kid in a toy shop when I entered the premises. Seeing all the keys, dismantled key parts and spares got me asking questions straight away. The young man, Adam who attended to me was VERY helpful indeed. I was thoroughly impressed with his manner and how he was willing to answer ALL the questions I fired at him as he carried out the task of first trying to get the codes from my master key. He explained that the master key had died and the codes could not be retrieved. This meant that a new key had to be created using the spare key. I was disappointed at first because my master key had various programs, other than opening the door and turning the ignition. It, moved the steering wheel to a comfort position as well as moving the driver's seat for easier exit. Since I had been without these comforts for a number of years, I wasn't too upset. Setting up the new key, was very interesting. This took less than 15 minutes to complete. The electronic key reader looked like a 'fancy' gadget with a number of slots for various attachments. I was interested in how the key reader worked. Adam was only too happy for me to watch the process and to explain how each part worked. I watched and waited for my car specific code to appear, on the tablet whilst he went to help with another customer. A few minor adjustments later, the new key was ready. From start to finish, the process was smooth and efficient. The specialist was knowledgeable and skilled, accurately assessing my situation. The new key they crafted worked very well, except the new manual key which was a little thicker than my original. This wasn't a problem as the manual key from my failed master key still worked. I appreciated Adam's particular attention to detail and commitment to providing a high-quality service. I will definitely be recommending Auto Key Specialists to my family and friends. Thank you Adam for listening to me whilst, I 'talked for England'! Highly recommended!
